Description

A set of stunning tableware designed by the Finnish master Tapio Wirkkala k nown as serving fork and spoon 5302-0340 and 5301-0340. These extremely rare, space-age esque utensils were designed in 1961 and were in production during the 60s, the success during launch wasn't that huge as products from Iittala and other factories were dwarfing the capacity of the rather small Stromfors factory. The fact that these were also made in plastic has probably dwindled the numbers of these even quicker. The utensils are represented in the collections of the British museum. They are in good vintage condition, the items show signs of use but are in respectable condition. Both measure about 34cm in length.
